聚焦！2023年度十大最具代表性中欧地理标志产品来了！

为加强中欧地理标志保护与合作，促进地理标志产品贸易，2020年9月14日，《中华人民共和国政府与欧洲联盟地理标志保护与合作协定》正式签署，成为中欧开展务实合作新的里程碑！协定惠及双方消费者和企业，使中欧双方对地理标志产品进入对方市场提供产权保护，为中欧经贸合作发展注入新动力。

中外地理标志产品博览会组委会一直致力于组织中欧地理标志推广活动。为落实中欧领导人会谈成果，促进协定实施，第二届中外地理标志产品博览会将于2023年9月19日（星期二）至21日（星期四）在四川省泸州市举办。届时，来自国内外800多家企业超3000个单品参加展出。其中，涉及中欧地理标志产品、中国地理标志产品400多个，国外展品达400个以上。

本届地博会以“强化地理标志保护·促进产业高质量发展”为主题，旨在深入贯彻落实地理标志产品高质量发展的决策部署，进一步强化知识产权保护，促进地理标志行业高质量发展。并将在本届中外地理标志产品博览会上揭晓2023年度十大最具代表性中欧地理标志产品。这十项产品由组委会专家评审团从中欧互认的两批次共计两百多个地标产品中综合销量、知名度、影响力、历史、对中欧地理标志概念推广及协定落地做出的贡献、对产地带来的产业带动效应等方面因素，结合各国地理标志专家推荐意见选出，历时两个月。

榜单将于2023年9月19日晚在中欧地标之夜上在中欧地理标志相关领导、专家、品牌方、采购方的见证下隆重揭幕。敬请期待！

The Most Iconic EU-China GIs at GIPE 2023 Are Coming

To strengthen GI protection and cooperation and promote GI products trade, the Agreement on the Protection and Cooperation of Geographical Indications between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the European Union was formally signed on September 14, 2020, which marked a new milestone in the practical cooperation between China and the EU! The agreement delivers benefits to consumers and enterprises of both sides, enables China and the EU to provide property rights protection for GI products when entering into each other's markets, and injects new impetus into the development of China-EU economic and trade cooperation.

The organizing committee of the Global Geographical Indications Products Expo has been committed to GI promotion activities between China and Europe. In order to implement the outcomes of the China-EU leaders’ dialogues and promote the implementation of the agreement, the GIPE 2023 will be held in Luzhou, Sichuan Province from September 19 to 21. During the expo, more than 3,000 items from more than 800 domestic and foreign enterprises will be presented in the expo. Among them, there are more than 400 China-EU GI products, and more than 400 foreign products.

With the theme "Strengthening the protection of geographical indications (GI) and promoting the high-quality industrial development," the expo aims at boosting the high-quality development of GI products,intellectual property protection, and industrial development. What’s more, ten of the most iconic EU-China GIs will be announced at the Expo. The ten products, chosen from the mutual recognized GI products, are recommended by experts from home and abroad based on sales, popularity, influence, history, contribution to the implementation of the GI agreement and the industrial development, which lasted for two months.

The ten products will be unveiled on the evening of September 19, 2023 in the presence of China-EU GI leaders, experts, brands and purchasers. Let’s wait and see!
